Rules and deliverables

Participation rules

  • A Kaggle account is required. Entrants must be at least the older of 18 or the local age of majority; exceptions require sponsor approval and appropriate guardian consent.
  • Residents of Crimea, the so-called DNR/LNR, Cuba, Iran and North Korea, and persons or entity representatives subject to US export controls or sanctions are excluded.
  • Use one account per participant. No private sharing of code or data outside teams. Follow data licensing, daily submission and team-merger rules.
  • The rules state no purchase is necessary to enter. Optional computing or third-party tools may have separate costs.
  • Participants under 18 may enter with guardian consent but cannot receive a prize. Identity verification may be required.
  • Competition data uses CC BY-NC 4.0 for non-commercial use. Winners must deliver reproducible code/documentation and the specified open-source license. Student status alone does not establish all University-track eligibility.

What to prepare

  • A tracking-data writeup explicitly linking Combine movement to NFL performance, at most 2,000 words and fewer than 10 tables or figures.
  • Readable Markdown, embedded visuals and an attached public Kaggle Notebook; put most code in an appendix or linked notebook.
