About this opportunity
Hackyard Build 2026 is a builder experience by Hackyard. Applications run online September 14 – October 10, 2026 — free and open to everyone; submit an idea, a problem, or a skill (no finished product required; optional public work link). Selected builders join a physical 24-hour hackathon on October 24–25, 2026 at IIT Guwahati, India (free event entry; food and accommodation at a nominal participant fee; travel not covered). Solo builders or teams of 2–4 (each member applies individually, teams linked via private team codes). Build anything worth building — AI agents, useful tools, or something weird; partners include Render, FlutterFlow, and Maritime (AI-agent infrastructure). Awards: Best Build (overall), Best Use of AI (thoughtful), and The Wildcard; every selected project receives $100 in Hackyard LLM credits, plus Render $50 credits for eligible attendees and $200/$100/$50 per-member placement rewards (cash-prize details to be finalized). Judging: Build 40%, Problem 20%, Ingenuity 20%, Potential 20%.
