Rules and deliverables
Participation rules
- Open worldwide to entrants aged 18+ without unlawful, dishonest or adverse professional records. The rights holder or sole authorized representative submits; projects with legal/copyright disputes are ineligible. Multiple projects need separate submissions.
- AIGC films can address any prompt and compete for every honor. Follow AI-tool terms; the rules prohibit inputting copyrighted text/images to generate content. Secure all music, image, likeness, AI-training-material and privacy permissions.
- Original sci-fi film, 3–20 minutes (exceptional films may be longer), MP4 at 720P or above; portrait or landscape. No watermarks, stuttering, black screens or commercial ads. Submission is publicly showcased on Lingya; retain source backups.
- A finalist must send a representative or loses finalist status; the exact final date is unannounced. Student honors require current enrollment or 2025–2026 graduation, disclosed at submission.
- Authors/teams retain IP, but entry grants organizers and partners worldwide nonexclusive reproduction, adaptation, compilation, communication, screening, broadcast and distribution rights, branding and promotional edits, including commercial promotion, credited without additional payment.
- Organizers/partners have priority cooperation, distribution and investment opportunities; revenue sharing needs a separate agreement. Organizers may enforce rights in their own name or via others, with proceeds to creators. Mark confidential materials in writing when submitting. Mainland Chinese law and the stated court jurisdiction apply.
- No infringement, false information, unfair competition or confidentiality breaches. Organizers may announce changes to rules, awards or schedule; upload/network risks rest with entrants. November 30 is a date-only submission cutoff: the displayed clock has no explicit timezone and is not converted to an exact instant.
What to prepare
- Upload the original 3–20 minute sci-fi film and truthful project/entrant information through the official Lingya activity page.
- Optionally put 1–2 intended honors in the title; student entries disclose current enrollment or 2025–2026 graduation. Mark confidential materials in writing.
